Fed up of hearing how we ALMOST signed a top player again. If we want to get promoted this season then we need to be signing these players and not almost signing them... I don’t doubt Carl thinks he’s doing what he believes is best for the club but I’m losing faith in his ability to do the job more every week..... and all this about not naming players when they have had a bad game, come on their grown men not kids. I’m agree that all players give 100% in each game but the fact is some of them are simply not good enough and fans have a right to give their opinions good or bad about players. This happens in all sports.
I would have thought that criticism can be a vehicle for motivation.
It can be debilitating too.
But really when you step out onto the turf you know that you are being judged like in all walks of life.
So if you find yourself crying in a corner after a bit of criticism then perhaps you should grow a thicker skin.
Life is tough ... get used to it.
